Wild Child

Wild HAIR child, that is. Evan definitely inherited his parent's hair. If left to dry on it's own without manipulating, it falls completely flat on his head. So far, I think he's got my texture, very fine and thin. After his bath the other day, I was rubbing his towel all over his head because he thought it was so funny. Lo and behold, the kid has crazy amounts of hair!

 Who knew?!
 And the cutest little tiny curls I ever did see.
 I don't where these came from. Both Nate and I have stick straight hair. But I sure am glad Evan got 'em!
 I love to run my fingers through his lovely locks. Nate, on the other hand, is demanding a haicut. He says if the baby's hair is longer than his, than it is too long. I can't bring myself to cut my BABY's hair; plus, I don't think he needs one. So, I leave it up to you, bloggers. Whose team are you on?
 May I remind you, try and imagine this adorable face without all that flluff on top.
PS-At Evan's 9 month well-baby checkup, the doctor deemed him very social and confident. (Cracks me up every time I think about it!) My sister said, Oh, perfect! That's just what I'm looking for in a baby! :)
Current stats:
Head Circumferene=18.25 inches, 75%
Weight= 22 lbs, 70%
Height= 31.25 inches, above and beyond 100%

Keep the hair! I think you should definitely enjoy those curls for a little longer... so sweet. :)

Tradition would leave it long until he's a year old. And it would totally break your heart to see how old he looks with a haircut.

However...

You know how short I like my boys' hairs...

Don't cut his hair. The little guy has worked very hard for that hair. Enjoy it. There will always be time for a high and tight flat top when he is 16. Evan is gets cuter everyday! :)

I Say keep the hair! It's too cute to cut!
He's 31 inches tall!? holy cow! He definitely takes after you two! Did they happen to measure his feet? ;)

Cute! I LOVE his curls:) He's such a handsome baby Sar. He's 1 pound shy of Wes! He's growing so fast!
My opinion with baby hair is, once someone comments on you very cute "girl"... it's time to chop it off:) (but some people are just idiots and call a boy in blue with short spiky hair a girl) He's so dang cute!

I vote with Nate.... cut it.

Depends on how you want to view him. With the longer hair, he will look younger, more baby. The MINUTE you cut his hair he will seem a lot older; not so much a baby anymore, more like a little man. That has happened over and over for me with my boys. Even/especially now that they are getting so big.

Cut it. Why are people so attached to their hair anyway? Oh wait. I cry if I cute my hair more than 2 inches. Maybe you shouldn't take advice from me. lol.

I didn't want to cut Anna's hair when she was little because it meant giving up length. Length=pig tails and even though when it was down it looked like a mullet, I wanted those dang pig tails! Evan, however, I cut his before he was 3 months old because it was growing unevenly. And we both survived. Just sayin...

I say leave the hair until people start telling you what a cute girl you have. That is when I was done with Ben's baby curls. Warning Ben's curls didn't come back.

No haircut necessary. Also, do they need a 9 month check up? I thought we didn't have to go in again until a year. Did he get shots?
