Nate has an internship in Virginia for the summer and we are currently headed across the country to get there! We plan on keeping you all updated on our adventures each day. Today was the first day and after surviving the dreaded wyoming, we arrived to our first destination: Mount Rushmore! We were so excited and really loved it. It is smaller than you think, but none the less, spectacular! (Note: the thing to do at Mt Rushmore is go in the evening after the ATM has closed and don't carry any cash on you. Then they just let you in for free!) Tomorrow, we attack the rest of the state of south dakota (app. 560 miles) and hopefully get in to Iowa where we stay the night there. Keep the prayers coming for finding us a place to live in VA!
